Aim

Our Aim is that the Clyde Costal Path will become one of Scotland’s Great Trails.

Currently, The Mull of Galloway Trail and the Ayrshire Coastal Path are part of Scotland’s Great Trail (SGT) network. When we achieve this Aim, the Firth o Clyde Rotary Trail (FoCRT) will be entirely within the SGT network. To the North, the West Highland Way is already one of SGTs.

Ambition

Our Ambition is that, within 5 years of opening, 5,000 walkers per year will enjoy the facilities of the CCP.

After 30 years, the West Highland Way attracts 30,000 walkers annually.
